B3 the Baby Eagle

This book was inspired by the Berry College Eagle Cam, where thousands of viewers watched B3’s hatching, growth and development into a juvenile eagle. We all learned to appreciate the rewards and realities of nature and our part in helping to preserve it.

Karen and her husband live in the midwest. In addition to their pets, she enjoys travel, photography, and nature. This book is her first venture into creative writing.

B3 the Juvenile Eagle

This is the second book about a bald eagle named B3.  At 2 years old, B3 is now a Juvenile Eagle and is looking for adventures as she continues her 4-5 year journey to adulthood. In this fictional story, she decides to journey west and visit Red Rock country.

Karen and her husband live in the midwest with their pets. This book incorporates frequent visits to Red Rock country in Southeastern Utah and the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. Many of the scenic photos contained in this book are the Author’s photographs.

B3 the Subadult Eagle

This is the third book in a series about a bald eagle named B3. At 3-1/2 years old, B3 is a Subadult Eagle yearning for more adventure before she fully emerges as an Adult Bald Eagle. In this fictional story, she decides to take a long journey northwest and explore Alaska.

Karen and her husband live in the Midwest with their pets. This book incorporates frequent visits to cousins in Alaska. Several of the scenic and wildlife photos contained in this book are the Author’s photographs.

B3 the Adult Eagle

This is the fourth and final book in a series about a bald eagle named B3.  At 5 years old, B3’s development has culminated into an Adult, where if successful, she will mate and reproduce for up to 25 years in the wild.  In this fictional story, B3 chooses a mate and together they prepare for their future.

This book intertwines the primary locations where the Author has encountered and photographed Bald Eagles:  Alaska, Georgia, and her home state of Michigan.  Several of the scenic and wildlife photos contained in this book are the Author’s photographs.
